Sustainable Design Primer

Sustainable, or “Green”, design is becoming more and more commonplace. Everyday there are news stories and magazine articles about these issues. If you are interested in learning more about what sustainability is, here are a few links that will hopefully pique your interest:

In the coming weeks, I hope to add more to this discussion and bring it into the realm of church design and the role of Christians in environmental Stewardship. Please feel free to post any comments that you feel are important. I would love to hear them.
I’m excited to see Christians becoming involved in the conversations on sustainable design. I’m concerned that we’ve focused too much on a it’s-all-going-to-burn-anyway-end-times view rather than our responsibility as stewards of the planet.
