Secure Give

SecureGiveOne of the advantages of attending the NACBA conference each year is having an opportunity to meet new people and discuss new ministry concepts.  As Todd mentioned in his latest post, Meeting an Influencer, one of the high points of this year’s conference for Todd and I was meeting Rex Miller.  Another highlight was meeting Pastor Marty Baker, founder of SecureGive, and pastor of Stevens Creek Community Church

SecureGive is system that allows people to donate to your organization using debit card and a giving kiosk equipped with a touch screen monitor, a magnetic stripe reader, a receipt printer, and a secure encrypted PIN pad.  You can read about the product in greater detail on the SecureGive website, as well as read about this history of SecureGive on the ‘about‘ page.

There are some churches/denominations that have chosen not to utilize online giving or electronic giving for various reasons.  However, for churches that are looking for new ways to embrace an increasingly technological and electronic culture, SecureGive may be an ideal solution.
